In Tianjin, December is always the coldest month, but with the help of Tianjin TLY Cultural Foundation, the needy students in Hexi District enjoyed the traditional Chinese New Year this time. At the end of 2010, Tianjin TLY Cultural Foundation and Education Board of Hexi District signed the student subsidies donation agreement, named “The Fulfillment of Dreams. This year, more than 1,000 students in Hexi District will benefit from the donation.
         The scholarship is designed to promote the public welfare fund, to help the students in Hexi District form a right worldview and foster their talent. Tianjin TLY Cultural Foundation contributed 160 thousand RMB for different theme activities. The person in charge said that different activities may serve different student groups, activities including themes like fulfilling the dream of experiencing, fulfilling the dream of growing up, fulfilling the dream of talent, fulfilling the dream of setting up the business, fulfilling the dream of independence, etc. About 1,000 children can participate in these activities each year. Foundation would organize various educational activities aiming at solving common problems in the children’s adolescence, and guide the children to face difficulties, keep a positive attitude, and live a happy life. 100 outstanding students from secondary schools and higher vocational schools will be rewarded each year to build their own business and realize their business dreams.
