       Jointly hosted by Communist Youth League Committee of Tianjin, Chinese Young Pioneers Working Committee of Tianjin, Jinwanbao Newspaper, Tianjin TLY Cultural Foundation, and presented by the Children’s Palace of Tianjin and Amway (China) Co., Ltd, the "Stars of Independence" Award Night and the Ceremony of the Children’s Day was held at Jinwan Plaza at the evening of May 31st. The stories of the young stars moved all the students and their parents present.

 All the ten “Stars of Independence” are: Li Anqi from Dasi Middle school in Xiqing District, who studies and takes care of her family at the same time; Xu Weihong from Tongwang Primary School in Hexi District, Who win awards in many robot making competitions; Zhang Zhonghe from Shiyan Primary School in Hongqiao District, who makes many inventions and has his own patents; Li Cunli from Shuangkou Middle School in Beichen District, who lost her father but get self independence; Wang Aiguo from Jinmen Primary School in Dongli District, who is an excellent International draughts player with gibbosity; Liu Xinyi from Shiyan Primary School in Hebei District, who has great performance in an important show; Zheng Yuanyuan from Yinbinli Primary School, who lost her parents but always happy to help others; Li Huannan from Jianshan Primary School in Hexi District, who grown up in mining field; and Li Sitong from The Third Middle School of Tianjin who take part in International English speech competition representing China.
